Mayor checks in on St Mark’s Square

The mayor of Bromley, Julian Bennington, visited the St Mark’s Square residential and leisure quarter last week, where he was given a preview of the ongoing construction of the cinema complex.

Also in attendance for the visit were Bromley Council’s director of regeneration, Marc Hume. The managing director of Cathedral, Martin Wood was also present, as well as contractor McLaren’s project director, Paul Exford.

The scheme is scheduled for completion by the end of 2015. As well as the nine-screen cinema, it will include a 130-bedroom Premier Inn hotel, 200 apartments and an underground car park with 400 spaces.
