Brazilian-themed restaurant chain, Preto, has signed to take space at St Mark’s Square in Bromley.
The latest signing leaves one available unit at the scheme, which is being developed by Cathedral Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Development Securities.
Preto now operates seven restaurants across London and the south-east. Michelle Kindon, who will be general manager of the St. Marks’s Square Preto, is a Bromley resident.
She said: “We are happy to be contributing to the wide variety of family dining in the scheme. As a Bromley local for over 10 years, I know that St Mark's Square is a much-needed social hub for the area and I very much look forward to its completion.”
St Mark’s Square is due to complete at the end of 2015. Projections estimate that the scheme will boost the local economy by £220 million over 10 years.
It will also include a nine-screen multiplex VUE cinema, a 130-bedroom Premier Inn hotel, 200 private and affordable apartments and a new 400-space underground car park.
