Hardware, food and fashion retailer HEMA has signed for its first retail space at the intu Bromley shopping centre.
The lettings for the Dutch brand come as intu prepares its £24 million investment to redevelop the centre.
HEMA has taken a 10-year lease for 325sq m and is due to open the branch later this month (July).
The brand’s store will be located in the lower mall, where it will join other retailers – Disney Store, River Island, Apple, French Connection and L’Occitane.
Rebecca Ryman, regional director at intu said: “This is exciting news for Bromley and south London as HEMA is an extremely popular brand in Europe.
"This letting demonstrates that our affluent catchment base and exciting development plans are attracting key retailers who want the best stores in the very best locations."
