Businesses support Bromley's voluntary sector

Community Links is organising an event at the Bromley Governance Centre, where private sector businesses will share their expertise and knowledge to provide advice and support to those in the voluntary sector.
The keynote address will be given by Joe Irving, chief executive at the National Association of Voluntary and Community Associations, which will be followed by questions and a panel discussion featuring Irving, Sue Southern, chair of Community Links Bromley and Alan Whyte, chair of the Bertha James Day Centre.
Linda Gabriel of solicitors Thackray Williams will lead a workshop on legal responsibilities of trustees and Alex French of accountants Baker Tilly will speak about trustees and financial management.
