Take-off for Invest Bromley

by James Renoux-Wood Fri 7 June 2013, 12:05 pm

The launch of the second issue of Invest Bromley magazine takes place at the Bishop's Palace Civic Centre on Wednesday 17 July.

Biggin Hill airport: boosting the office market?

This issue, published by 3Fox International, features updates on major developments across the borough and showcases further opportunities for potential investors.

Leading property specialists and investors will converge on Bromley to hear more about development opportunities in the £1 billion regeneration programme under way in London's largest borough.

Delegates at the event will take part in drinks and networking sessions from 6pm, before hearing speeches from key property and regeneration specialists.

Cllr Peter Morgan, Bromley Council's portfolio holder for renewal and recreation, and Marc Hume, director for renewal and recreation, will lead discussions, with local agent Michael Rogers giving a market update. The council will also set out its emerging planning policy position.

Proceeding this, an informal workshop discussion about the office market in Bromley will take place.

Invest Bromley editor Siobhán Crozier said: "The new issue of Invest Bromley showcases a London borough where the demographics make it ripe for investment. We feature the pack of luxury brands already firmly based here and the big corporates which have located their regional and national headquarters in Bromley.

"Biggin Hill Airport has the only private jet facility within the M25 and a growing industrial zone with Formula One already established – the opportunities for aviation supply chain and other businesses are significant."

The office worskshop will take place between 5pm and 6pm, with the launch between 6pm and 7pm.
