A £2 million centre for students with learning difficulties is on track for completion in a matter of weeks, Bromley College has said.

Bromley centre being created

The Education Funding Agency financed development at the college’s Bromley campus will include hospitality and catering facilities, speech and therapy rooms, state of the art ICT facilities, and media and performance rooms - all with ramp access.

Bromley College principal Sam Parrett said the new facilities would fill a gap in the borough’s provision for 16-24 year olds with complex learning difficulties and disabilities.

“This is such a great success story for the borough and this project is a critical part of our community plan,” she said.

“We are confident that we will be able to provide young people and their families with high quality facilities, support and education in their own community.”
