Google set to hit Bromley

Wed 30 January 2013, 9:47 am

Internet search giant Google is coming to Bromley to help local businesses grow their online operations.

Staff will offer free digital consultations with tips on ways businesses from entrepreneurs and start-ups to larger companies can use the web more effectively to drive momentum and trade.

Google UK managing director Dan Cobley said research showed that harnessing the power of the web was a key factor for the growth of small businesses.

“Our goal is to help businesses understand how easy it is to get online and contribute to the overall growth of their enterprise and the local economy,” he said.

“We hope that local businesses in and around Orpington will take advantage of these free digital sessions.”

Google’s “Juice Bar” comes to Bromley College’s Orpington Campus from 10am-3pm on 8 February.
