Town hall development partner selected

Bromley Council has selected The Land Group as its development partner to take forward proposals for the refurbishment and conversion of Bromley town hall to provide a high quality hotel and conference facility.

he property was offered for sale by the council in October, and now Land Group will draw up detailed plans for the transforma¬tion of this Grade II listed building, restoring many of the original features and enhancing the building in its historic setting. 

The original building on Tweedy Road was built in 1906, with an extension on Widmore Road built in 1939
