Bromley Council's leadership and senior management team have pledged to help development take place in the borough.
"There is genuine potential within the heart of the town centre which could generate interesting development opportunities for investors. The planning policies are in place and when high quality schemes come forwards, we will be looking to work with developers to support their plans," said Bromley Council leader Stephen Carr.
Bromley Council is set to reveal a new action plan for 12 key development sites in the town centre, along with significant projects and opportunities elsewhere in the borough, at a conference called Invest Bromley on September 20th, 2011.
"When these sites are built out Bromley will be transformed," councillor Carr continued. "We have a reputation of delivering what we set out to achieve. The time is right for this transformation to take place. Bromley has not been on the radar for most investors but we're aiming to change that."
